My name is Mom-Me at home. Friends who say my given name correctly are highly valued. Jenni-lyn, two distinct sounding names. Not Jen-all-lyn smushed together. I read every day, date husband at least weekly, watch films, daydream, teach early Daily Seminary-Bible Class to (only 13 this year!), cook extravagant meals, make famous fudge, take walks...but mostly I quilt and paint and parent!

More Beach Family Fun
This makes me laugh--Emma took the picture for us. And I swiveled it around until it looks like we are glued together at the forehead. Silly fun!

This is what I thought I was taking a "couple" shot, but it was zoomed in so far from other shots and just focuses on John's happy smile! No cropping. Shown as is.

Dewey Beach on a Thursday
Emma wanted a sibling photo before they left for school. And we haven't gone to the ocean all summer. Perfect day in the middle of the week. I finished up my work project Wednesday. John was free from work (his starts up again next week for quality control of what I just finished with the census...).

Happy Father's Day from DAD to DAD!
My Dad by marriage lives 2 blocks away. It has been a huge blessing living close enough for the kids to walk over. He is a good grandfather to them. He taught his son well how to treasure the mother of your children, how to honor your wife. I am thankful for the son this man raised.
This is John and his 3 sons, last Father's Day. I hope they grow into the kind of father their Daddy has taught them to be. I hope that for my future grandchildren! And daughters-by-marriage!

My dad sent this in email--a great link to a touching video, "A Father Indeed." Nice message, as we prepare to honor our fathers this coming Sunday.
