Too Much of Us?

I don't really know who reads this blog unless you post a comment. Are you getting tired of seeing us everyday? Smiling, happy, in love...still looking for work. John applied today for one that sounds promising. I feel like I say that every day. Lots of long romantic lunch dates that end at 2 pm when the high school kids come home. Cross country is over and wrestling hasn't started yet.
Serious faces (sitting in front of our living room window. The window is reflecting the room, but the stained glass you can see on the left of John's shoulder--that is St. Paul's across the street. This shows the color of the room-deep turquoise, matches my favorite curtains. Going for a monochromatic look in here. Maybe. This week, anyway!)

Must take pictures of some quilting tomorrow. Or change the name of this blog:
Lunch Dates
Us Everyday
Side by Side
Johnny's Rib
Early Unexpected Unwanted Retirement
Praying for a Miracle
Waiting for Windows to Open

Commenting on my own blog is probably lame, but if you CLICK on the picture and it enlarges, you can see the cars in the church parking lot, the street lamp, electrical wires. They are not in my dinning room, which is the reflection. Kind of cool. And we were trying to be serious on purpose. "American Gothic" ala Grant Wood. But sitting down.

Ummmm..... look at the times on this post. What are you doing up at THAT HOUR??????

crazy lady.

I love how John is TRYING to make a serious face. HE didn't convince me. You did though. Put a pitchfork in his hand. Or was it hers?

I am not tired of the pictures of you two at all. I love them. But quilting pictures are welcome too! I was chuckling at the renames of your blog. Johnny's rib---- HA HA! You are too much :)

Yeah, we Babcock girls are good at those serious faces! John looks like he's about ready to crack up laughing. Thanks for making me smile with your seriousness.

I love checking in everyday to see the new pic of you guys. And your previous post and all the posts where you talk about your relationship and love have been making me think and reevaluate and work harder in my own. Thank you! :)

Love the pictures of you two and your stories of how you are making it through your "unwanted retirement." You've had lots of pictures of quilts lately - the ones you have stood in front of.

Fun to see that wall!!!

I think it is a neat idea- everyone who reads loves it!!

It shouldn't be a burden, but still something enjoyable.

In my defense (and editing my dinning room comment to DINING) I'll have Tiffany know that the time signature must be for WEST COAST sleepers...It was at least 5 am here! I do sometimes pre-write things for the next day and set the post option for the next day by 5 am when I first check blogs. I am up by 4:30 am consistently on teaching days.

About once a week I actually have time to check out the blogs and spend more than 2 minutes on the computer. I always check out your blog. I love the way you write. I cry for you, and cheer for you, and pray for you. Please keep it up!

I don't check every day, but do pray for you. When I do catch up on blogs I love to go back to the last read post and catch up. I love to see all pictures and thoughts you post!
