After the manner of Grant Wood, but in pastel chalk, made in 2004. Gawky, awkward, feeling out of place, like everyone is staring at you, bumpy. I would hate to be a teenager again. It is something you survive, and don't look back on! Getting through unscathed is miraculous. Dealing with the fears, the uncertanties, the hormones, the changes, the expectations, the stress...tough stuff.

I can, without reservation, agree with this post. YES.
I sometimes wonder if there is anything I could have done to enjoy being a teenager. My lack of confidence stopped me from doing so many things I could have done. It was tough times.
It really is a shame when we let all those awkward feelings define us as a teenager and sometimes carry them on with us through out our lives.
