Something Happens to My Eyes When I Smile

Waving good-bye to the van full of seminary students as they leave our house for high school. Squinty smiley eyes.
Open eyes, looking not at the camera. I played with the shadows on this one.

Squinting again. I don't know if I have ever noticed this before, my happy eyes compared to my staring eyes. At dinner I will make everyone smile and see what happens, crinkly tiny happy slits, or Mona Lisa eyes?

Squinty happy eyes must be genetic. I've noticed that in myself too. Raising eyebrows while smiling helps open the eyes.

Your smiley eyes--squinty or not-- are always nice to see each morning.

I like that shadow play picture. Neat different tone.
