Growing up we had Easter egg hunts and baskets on the Saturday before Easter, so the Sabbath was kept focusing on the spiritual celebration.
I saw this pattern on http://www.dana-made-it.com/ but instead of using wool and batting I sewed yellow flannel on fabric swatches-already zig-zagged edges. Folded over the paper backed "color" details of each swatch, threaded a yellow ribbon through back.
My favorite way to eat peeps is three weeks old, dried out, chewy, and wonderful! Mmmmmmwaaah! (the sound of me smacking my lips in anticipation!)
Version #2, variation with rounded corners, and a bite!
